Sad sad sad....

This week, most of my friends will be leaving for university. I'm going to miss them very very very much. There's a few friends that I'll miss more since I've known them from primary and secondary school. I wish I could turn back the time and spend more time with them again. Don't know when I'll meet my friends again. Maybe in a few month's time or maybe a few years??? I hope we'll still be able to keep in touch no matter how far we are. Friends forever.

Vitamin C
Graduation (Friends Forever)

And so we talked all night about the rest of our lives
Where we're gonna be when we turn 25
I keep thinking times will never change
Keep on thinking things will always be the same
But when we leave this year we won't be coming back
No more hanging out cause we're on a different track
And if you got something that you need to say
You better say it right now cause you don't have another day
Cause we're moving on and we can't slow down
These memories are playing like a film without sound
And I keep thinking of that night in June
I didn't know much of love
But it came too soon
And there was me and you
And when we got real blue
Stay at home talking on the telephone
We'd get so excited, we'd get so scared
Laughing at ourselves thinking life's not fair
And this is how it feels

[1]
As we go on
We remember
All the times we
Had together
And as our lives change
Come whatever
We will still be
Friends Forever

So if we get the big jobs
And we make the big money
When we look back now
Will our jokes still be funny?
Will we still remember everything we learned in school?
Still be trying to break every single rule
Will little brainy Bobby be the stockbroker man?
Can Heather find a job that won't interfere with her tan?
I keep, I keep thinking that it's not goodbye
Keep on thinking it's a time to fly
And this is how it feels

[Repeat 1]
La, la, la, la:
Yeah, yeah, yeah
La, la, la, la:
We will still be friends forever

Will we think about tomorrow like we think about now?
Can we survive it out there?
Can we make it somehow?
I guess I thought that this would never end
And suddenly it's like we're women and men
Will the past be a shadow that will follow us 'round?
Will these memories fade when I leave this town
I keep, I keep thinking that it's not goodbye
Keep on thinking it's a time to fly

[Repeat 1 (3x)]

Nursery..nursery

Holiday is over for me. Had to start work again. So...After two weeks of holiday I just couldn't wake up early. Felt so lazy and dizzy and tired and......... But in the end I manage to drag myself out off the bed. First day after the holiday is TERRIBLE. Children were crying. Very loud. Had headache listening to their 'nice music'. After all the children had settle down, I thought it would be OK after that. I was definitely wrong. Guess what happen when I did reading with them? They lost their memory. TOTALLY lost their memory. Some of the younger kids could read ABC very well before the holidays began. But after the holidays, they can't remember anything. Haih. Even the older ones can't remember what they had learn. If you have high blood pressure please make sure you take your medication before teaching them. Or not you'll 'pengsan'. Haha. Hope tomorrow will be much better. But I just have a feeling that things will be the same. Well, there's nothing much that I can do.........

Chang..

My two weeks of holiday is ending already. Sad, sad la..Must go back and face the kids. Hopefully they don't come and start crying. The small ones always cry after coming back from long holidays. Can't blame them for crying cos holiday is so fun. I've learnt how to make 'bak chang' during my last two days of holiday. My family and I went back went back early Friday to help my grandma make the 'bak chang'. My aunt and my mum were busy making it while my sister, my brother and I went for a nap. Haha. We were tired since we had to wake up early to go back to my grandma's house. But my sister and I did help to make a few after we woke up la. It is very hard to make. Need to have certain technique of folding, holding, squishing and tying. My grandma likes all her things to look 'pretty'. So it's even harder. But at last I pass also. Haha. My aunt told us that they used to practice making 'bak chang' with sand first before they were allowed to use the real ingredients. Making everything is hard. But there's one thing that is easy. Eating the 'bak chang'. Haha. It's very easy and fast.

The ingredients

My 'bak chang'

Time to eat....

There's another 'chang' that my grandma made. It's called 'ki chang'. This is even harder to make compared to the 'bak chang' cos it's smaller and you can't put too much of glutinous rice inside. It needs to have space for it to 'expand'. So that makes it even harder to get the shape right. That's why I didn't make that. Too hard. Haha.

'Ki chang'

Well it's nice to learn how to make 'chang'. Quite fun actually. But of course the first time is hard. But everyone needs to learn and practice making it before they can actually make a 'perfect chang'. I'll have to wait until the next year before I get to try once more. Haha.

Madness....

Petrol price is going up starting tomorrow. So, today everyone is going to fill their petrol. I was out just now and every petrol station that I pass has a long queue, at least 30 cars waiting for their turn to fill up their petrol. Totally insane. Well, can't blame them for being so insane. 78 cents is a LOT. Maybe it's time to start car pooling again. But with the coming system (safety belt for passenger) how can people car pool? Just 5 people in a car. Cannot car pool if they have large family. Every family will be driving van or bus soon. Haha. Don't think the goverment should enforce this system at this time. They should handle one thing at a time. Anyway, even some drivers and co-drivers aren't wearing safety belts. Shouldn't they solve that prolem first? Well, everything's up to the goverment. We, the citizen, just follow what the goverment wants us to do.

Shrinking paper

I know my blog has been 'dead' for nearly two weeks. Well was feeling lazy since I'm having my holidays. Now that my holidays are nearly over, I shall start blogging again. Haha. I've been busy going everywhere (around Alor Star only) this holiday but now I just can't think of anything that's really interesting to blog about. Oh....Remembered something. Few days ago, we went to Aunty Amelia's house to 'bake'. But we didn't bake cake or pizza...we baked PAPERS. Not normal papers of course. Special type of paper that would shrink once you bake it. So we all printed things on the papers and put it in the oven. Once the paper was in the oven it began to shrink until it was 30% of the original size. When we took it out, it was hard. It became something like plastic. From paper it turned into plastic. The technology now is so 'canggih'. Haha.

Before

After

Nice right? It'll be a very nice key chain. Luckily we punch a hole on top of it before we 'bake' it. It's impossible to punch a hole once we finish baking. That's one of the things i did during my holidays.
